A flower’s dusk held in lacquer.
Mandrake draws its palette from the mandrake flower: muted violet petals, smoky green leaves and shadows that turn blue-black at their deepest. Mother-of-pearl carries those colours across the lacquer, changing from teal to violet as the pen moves through light.
